Said Taghmaoui will not be in the James Bond movie

The news was widely spread on several media outlets. But the information is now confirmed. According to Morocco World News Said Taghmaoui will not play in the next James Bond movie.

Rumor had it that the French-Moroccan actor had claimed that he would play the villain in “James Bond 25.” Many news outlets reported that including Moroccan Ladies.

Following the news, Taghmaoui contacted English-language outlet Morocco World News to dismiss the story. “It’s a fake news,” he said.

Born in France to Moroccan parents, Said Taghmaoui made a name for himself pursuing an international career, and appearing in films in Germany, Italy, Morocco and the United States (Three Kings, 1999). Taghmaoui starred in Vantage Point (2008) as the leader of a terrorist group plotting to kidnap the U.S. president. He became a naturalized US citizen in 2008.
