Phosboucraa Foundation supports 11 students to study abroad

Eleven recipients of the “Bourses d’Excellence” program will pursue their studies- a Master’s degree- abroad thanks to the support of the Phosboucraa Foundation. It’s a first.

“For the first time in its history, the Phosboucraa Foundation’s Excellence Scholarship program offers its beneficiaries the opportunity to pursue their higher studies abroad,” the Foundation announced at an organized ceremony at the end of July, at the training center, Laayoune Learning Center.

Eleven students benefiting from this program will be able to fly abroad to follow a Master in September 2019-2020. Among them, three girls who have entered prestigious institutions in Canada such as the Polytechnic School of Montreal and the University of Laval, while the other young people will study in other prestigious schools, in France including the Central School and the School of Mines.

The Phosboucraa Foundation proposes up to two years of support. Launched in 2014 by the Foundation in partnership with the Moroccan Foundation for Students, this program dedicated to students from the three southern regions benefited a total of 157 students, 75% from public institutions.
