Philosophers’ Night returns!

Six years after its creation, this inevitable event is yet again scheduled to be held on November 8th in Rabat and November 9th in Casablanca. It shall bring together about thirty philosophers and a diverse public, young and passionate.

Thinkers and the public are invited to participate in the Philosophers’ Night concocted by the French Institute of Morocco. More than 30 philosophers and artists are expected. Among them, Fabienne Brugère, Céline Spector, Valerie Cabanes, Mohamed Ennaji, Bruno Nassim Aboudrar, Driss Khrouz, Guillaume Leblanc, Mustapha Laarissa.

The moderators include Dominique Méda, French philosopher and sociologist, and Mohamed Doukkali, professor of the Philosophy Department at Mohammed V University of Rabat.

The speakers will thus confront their opinions around the theme of this year, “Sharing, how can we live the sharing today in our society?” Through conferences, debates, and dialogues, in French and in Arabic, they will dissect this question divided into four sections: “Sharing the land and the land-sharing”, ” Sharing work, rest and leisure”, “Sharing Work and Wealth” and “Sharing Knowledge”.

Appointment on Friday, November 8 at the Faculty of Sciences of Mohammed V University in Rabat and Saturday, November 9 at the French Institute of Casablanca from 6:30 and 00:30.
