Nominees of “Tilila Trophy” for gender equality in advertising announced

2M’s Committee for Parity and Diversity announced at a press conference on Wednesday, September 26 the 10 TV ad campaigns elected to participate in the “Tilila Trophy” contest. The winner of this first edition will be unveiled on October 10, at a ceremony in Casablanca.

“Tilila Trophy” was created to advance the image of women among advertising and communication agencies and promote the values of gender equality while fighting against negative stereotypes developed for women.

10 out of the 23 TV ads that submitted their applications were nominated for this award which consists of a free advertising campaign on the TV channel 2M. The Committee of Parity and Diversity and its three partners, namely, the Union of Communication Consulting Agencies (UACC), the Group of Advertisers of Morocco (GAM) and the Ecomédias group have designated:

Mia by Love Stories, El Kef by Shems, Huilor by Klem, Lesieur by Klem, BMCE Bank of Africa by Mozaik, MDJS-Muay-Thai by Initiative Digital, Umnia Bank by Rapp, Mio by Rapp, AttijariWafa Bank by Saga Communication and Ikea by Klem.

The jury is composed of, Mohamed Sghir Janjar, anthropologist, Leila Rhiwi, representative of UN Women Maghreb, Abdel El Fakir, CEO of ONMT, Rabea Naciri, gender expert, Sonia Terrab, writer and director, Syrine Cherif, communication and advertising expert.
