Nezha Hayat, president of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC), is now Commander of the Order of Civil Merit. She was awarded by the Spanish ambassador to Morocco, Ricardo Díez-Hochleitner, on behalf of the Spanish King Felipe VI, at a ceremony gathering prominent figures from the world of politics, business, diplomacy, art, and media.
“During her professional career, Mrs. Hayat has shown not only a careful attitude towards Spain but also a very positive attitude towards Spanish companies who have approached her for advice, support and follow-up”, said the ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Morocco, believing that her merits as a great personality in the economic and financial world in Morocco “are known to all”.
At the podium, the Spanish diplomat went on to express his gratitude to the dedication of Nezha Hayat not only to the companies of the IBEX 35 and the CAC 40 but also to the small and medium Spanish companies. For him, she is a ” very committed to respect for transparency in business, determined in the exercise of her responsibilities, passionate about her principles, intelligent, loyal and dedicated to her work and her country. “For her part, Nezha Hayat expressed her “deep gratitude” to the King of Spain Felipe VI for this award which “illustrates the quality of economic relations between Morocco and Spain”.
