Former world champion in the 400m hurdles, Nezha Bidouane, was re-elected president of the Royal Moroccan Sport for All Federation (FRMSPT) on Saturday, February 6 during an elective ordinary general assembly in Rabat.
The only candidate to succeed the outgoing office, Nezha Bidouane was re-elected at the head of the governing body of sport for all, winning 42 votes out of the 43 votes cast. This assembly, which took place in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, was the opportunity to unanimously approve the 46 present associations, as well as the moral and financial reports for the 20016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons. Moreover, the action plan of FRMSPT and the draft budget for the 2020-2021 sports season were adopted at this assembly.
Also during this assembly, Nezha Bidouane underlined that colossal work awaits the FRMSTP which is not a specialized Federation but rather an entity that is interested in all Moroccans regardless of their age category, adding that through the activities undertaken, the Federation tries to establish the culture of sport and to make citizens aware of the importance of its practice for health, the economy, development as well as the sense of civility that it engenders.
