New generation of artists hosted by Abla Ababou gallery

Written by FDM

From November 12, 2020, to January 12, 2021, 14 artists from various universes will be exhibited at Abla Ababou Galerie.

Abla Ababou Galerie entrusts its picture rails to Fouad Bellamine, to celebrate the new Moroccan artistic scene. The artist’s critical sense and his passion for transmission make him an essential figure in contemporary art.

Around a selection of 14 painters from multiple universes, all bearers of new perspectives, this carte blanche, “une nouvelle génération” (a new generation), is an invitation to discovery and to hope.

Techniques, disciplines, and sensitivities come together in coherence around the sharp gaze of Fouad Bellamine.

An exhibition to be taken as an exploration of new expressions but above all as a quest for meaning in a world dominated more than ever by uncertainty. Beyond bringing together a contemporary generation, this demanding selection is marked by singular and radical trajectories.

Artists are: Said Afifi, Sanae Arraqas, Mo Baala, Fouad Bellamine, Hakim Benchekroun, Deborah Benzaquen, Morran Ben Lahcen, Najoua El Hitmi, Abdallah El Haitout, Nour Eddine El Ghoumari, khadija Jayi, Omar Mahfoudi, Youssef Ouchra, Mouhcine Rahaoui, and Salah Taibi.
