Written by FDM

N’Bniouw through education by contributing to the education of the young generations is one of the four axes highlighted by LafargeHolcim Morocco. A look back at a promising and high-value balance sheet for the host communities of this corporate citizen.

100 schools and more than 14,000 children and adolescents benefited in 2020 from actions initiated by LafargeHolcim Maroc in the field of education. These actions which aim to fight against dropping out of school are as follows: transportation to go to school, satchel and school supplies, infrastructures allowing a quality education, computer equipment; see well, be in good health; benefit from the experience of LafargeHolcim Maroc employees for academic support.

This year, in the context of Covid-19, the LafargeHolcim Maroc teams have deployed health protection actions by ensuring that all schools have running water for handwashing and by carrying out actions to raise awareness of prevention with the distribution of masks and hydro-alcoholic gel.

It should be noted that the N’bniouw L’7ayat CSR program of LafargeHolcim Maroc focuses on 4 priority areas: local education and the fight against school drop-out for all, especially girls; sharing of safety actions and access to healthcare for the closest communities; the development of the employability of young people from local communities and local development through partnerships in actions aimed at ecological protection and improving the living environment of its host communities.
