Najia Mehadji will exhibit one of her works at the Institute of the Arab World which presented an “Artists’ tribute to Notre-Dame” the medieval Catholic cathedral that was ravaged by a fire, from September 21 to December 20. Other artists include Morocco’s Mohamed Lekleti, Syria’s Boutros Al-Maari, and Iraqi Dia Al-Azzawi.

Four artists from the Arab world will pay tribute to the cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris, ravaged by the flames on April 15th. Works collected in the exhibition “Artists’ tribute to Notre-Dame” presented, from September 21 to December 20, at the Institute of the Arab World ( IMA) in light of the 36th European Heritage Days.

Thus, paintings by Franco-Moroccan Najia Mehadji, Morocco’s Mohamed Lekleti, Syrian Boutros Al-Maari, and Iraqi Dia Al-Azzawi will be on display. A magnificent project launched initially by donors Claude and France Lemand, upset by the fire, who asked these four artists to bring their testimony. And this exhibition will be followed by other ones, as the IMA states.
