In a statement to the MAP at the end of this contest, Chef Faiçal said he was “proud and relieved” to have provided “a good performance”, which follows up to last year’s achievement, when he had assisted Chief Moha Fedal, then winner of the Jury Prize .
This year, he said, his participation had a twofold objective: to promote Morocco’s candidacy for the 2026 World Cup and to promote Moroccan cuisine, noting that the stand highlighted gastronomic art and Moroccan culture.
The competition, which boasted the participation of 28 countries and 1,500-2,000 people this year, is an experience of tasting the culinary works of foreign chefs representing various cultures of the world.
