Morocco is taking part in the Paris International Agricultural Show (SIA). A participation dictated by the desire of the kingdom to strengthen the brand image of Moroccan agricultural products, “especially those of the soil, in their diversity and quality, but also their presence at the level of France and Europe”, said the director general of the Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA), El Mahdi Arrifi, in a statement to the MAP.
“The objective is to prospect new opportunities for Moroccan producers and to make business contacts with major potential importers to find new opportunities in this sector,” said Arrifi.
“More than 300 B to B meetings will be organized as part of this fair between Moroccan exhibitors and French and European operators,” he said. And to add that “the participation of Morocco in exhibitions as prestigious as this one in Paris also aims to promote the multidimensional image of the country, its secular culture, its traditions and its architecture”.
Traditional culinary culture and national folklore are also honored on the occasion of this participation, through tastings and musical performances.
