Written by FDM

Moroccan singer Ghita Marrakchi known as Ghita, has made a comeback with new single “Mindfvck”. The now LA based singer found solid ground in catchy pop with whole lot of energy.

It’s been quite some time since we last heard of her. After her last appearance as the opening act of Maroon 5’s concert in Mawazin, Rabat, Ghita released a new single and she is certainly to stick around.  Have a listen!

“This song is about waking up in the morning and feeling completely different about a person, an idea or a thought you had the night before and not understanding where the sudden change is coming from.” Ghita told C-head magazine, which announced her come back, about the track.

The 22 years-old singer is undoubtedly one of the most promising Moroccan singers of her generation. Born in Casablanca, she grew up between Morocco, Spain and Switzerland, before heading to Berklee College of Music in Boston where she was schooled, and then Los Angeles where she has settled since 2016.

With a bewitching voice that sounds like a blend of Carly Rae Jepsen, Kesha and Rihanna, Ghita has all the potential that points to a promising future under the palm trees of Los Angeles.
