Moroccan researcher Karima El Azhary won the 2019 Green Talents Award in Germany. A distinction awarded for her project on how to develop building insulation, bioclimatic architecture, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

The 2019 Green Talents Award was awarded to Moroccan researcher Karima El Azhary for her work on how to develop building insulation, bioclimatic architecture, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

25 foreign nominees were shortlisted for the award. Green Talents 2019 is a program initiated since 2009 by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
In a statement to the MAP, the Moroccan said she was “honored and proud” to be rewarded with this award among the participants from 97 countries, adding that this distinction is the culmination of a long course of research on sustainable development. To her, this award confirms the high skills of Moroccan researchers in all fields.
