The Mayshad Foundation, chaired by Nezha Alaoui, is a non-profit organization based in the United States that works to promote African women. In this capacity, Nezha Alaoui spoke during two plenary sessions on the themes “Role of women in the regional economy” and “How can entrepreneurs solve the refugee crisis”? .
During the first conference, November 12, Nezha Alaoui discussed the role and importance of women in the economic development of the MENA region by highlighting the example of Morocco as a precursor in the establishment of a legal framework for women’s emancipation. In her second speech, November 13, the speaker will discuss the different ways that entrepreneurs can set up to resolve conflicts related to migration.
Every year, the Doha conference brings together more than 50 speakers and hosts nearly 250 guests to discuss current issues and challenges in the MENA region. Nezha Alaoui, who has developed a real advocacy for change, has already held a conference in September 2017 at the Concordia Summit, as a side event of the United Nations General Assembly.
