Moroccan expert appointed to the African Development Bank

Morocco’s Fatima-Zahra Taibi is part of Mécanisme des avantages de l’adaptation (MAA) (Adaptation Benefit Mechanism) Board of Directors, appointed by of the African Development Bank (BAD). Her mission consists of mobilizing funds to fight climate change.

The African Development Bank (BAD) has revealed the names of the high-level experts on the Adaptation Benefit Mechanism (MAA) Board of Directors. Among them, is Moroccan Fatima-Zahra Taibi, Senior Adviser to the Partnership between the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

7 other experts from 7 countries were named to the same board (Rwanda, Senegal, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Benin, Switzerland and Ethiopia). They will have the heavy mission of mobilizing public and private funds, to improve the resilience and adaptation to climate change.
