Written by FDM

Almost 3 months after the suspension of international flights due to the Covid-19 crisis, Mohammed V airport in Casablanca is preparing to welcome its new passengers.

The aisles at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca will soon fill up again. After the suspension of international flights due to the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19), the airport is preparing to reopen without announcing a specific date.

Intensive disinfection, physical distance, footpaths, and thermal cameras, the metropolitan airport does not spare any resources to guarantee a healthy and reassuring environment for passengers.

To comply with health regulations, cleaning and disinfection operations will be intensified, as well as the dissemination of awareness-raising messages on compliance with social distancing guidelines and barrier gestures. A number of signs will also be put up to remind you of general health instructions such as wearing a mask, regular hand washing, and using hydroalcoholic gels. And to detect “suspicious” passengers, the airport has acquired a hyper-sophisticated thermal camera.
