Mohamed Amine Zariat of Tibu Maroc among the 35 most inspiring young Africans in 2020

Africa 35.35 Awards is about celebrating the excellence of African youth and the Afro-diaspora. Shortlisted for the prize is Moroccan Mohamed Amine Zariat, founding president of the NGO TIBU Maroc, the leader in the field of social innovation through sport.

Association 35.35, organizer of the Africa 35.35 Awards, unveiled the list of 35 young personalities (18-35 years old) who stand out in Africa and in the world. Among them, the Moroccan Mohamed Amine Zariat, social entrepreneur, professional coach, Ashoka Fellow and Founding President of the NGO TIBU Maroc, Aya Chebbi, special envoy of the African Union for youth, Canary Mugume, the face of journalism of investigation in Uganda, Emma Theofelus, the deputy minister of information and communication technologies of Namibia, the youngest minister in Africa, Dudu, the apostle of good humor of Senegal or the Ivorian Joseph Olivier Biley who is revolutionizing agriculture with drones.

For Mohamed Amine Zariat, this appointment is a “recognition of social innovation through sport”. For Richard Seshie, Commissioner General of the Africa 35.35 Awards since 2016, it is an opportunity “to inspire the greatest number of young Africans to emulate their example”.
