Written by FDM

After winning the “Arab Reading Challenge 2018” in Dubai, the young Meryem Amjoun has just been appointed ambassador of reading by the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Fez-Meknes. She is only 9 years old.

A very young reading representative who has just been named. Meryem Amjoun was appointed ambassador of reading by the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Fes-Meknes.

Note that the 9-year-old girl won the “Arab Reading Challenge 2018 ” contest in Dubai, which started with 250 participants from various Arab countries. Facing 16 finalists, she knew how to stand out last October and especially moved the internet.

This new designation was made on the sidelines of the book fair under the sign “the youth book fair, edition of Meryem Amjoun”. A nice initiative that has been congratulated by the director of the Fès-Meknes Academy, Mohcine Zouak, since it aims to encourage pupils, boys and girls, to read, since reading contributes to their personal training and reinforces their openness to the world.
