Mawazine: Stanley Clarke, Migos, and Hamid El Kasri delight festival-goers

The big Maalem Hamid El Kasri, the king of the bass and the double bass Stanley Clarke as well as the American group Migos offered Thursday evening to the festival-goers, some unforgettable shows. Highlight in pictures.

On Thursday night the audience of Mawazine festival attended the wonderful show of legendary Stanley Clarke accompanied by his group of young gifted musicians on the stage of the national theater Mohammed V.  As a reflexion on the beautiful era of Jazz-fusion, Stanley Clarke gave his whole being and his soul and offered an unprecedented performance to the public.

That same evening, the stage of OLM Souissi, witnessed the concert of the American group Migos who delivered a memorable performance to the festival-goers. Singing their biggest hits, including ones from their latest album (produced by Pharell Williams and Kanye West).

In tribute to the Moroccan musical heritage, and this time on the stage of Salé, it is the great Maalem Hamid El Kasri, known by his powerful voice, who delighted the festival-goers, interpreting ”Baba Hamou”, ”Lalla Aicha”, ” Moulay Hmed”, ”La ilaha ila lah ” and so many other songs.
