This prestigious award, also known as the World Hotel, Restaurant and Store Architecture Award, honored the French architect of Moroccan origins for the Anantara Jabal Akhdar in the Sultanate of Oman, elected as best hotel in Africa and West Asia, as well as for Villa Gapi of Casablanca, which received the prize for the best restaurant in Africa and West Asia.

At only 38, Lotfi Sidirahal has a achieved some promising records. Born in Casablanca, he graduated from the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris before and founded in 1999 the Atelier PoD, an international agency of architecture and interior design in Paris, also present in Casablanca, Dubai and Beirut.
Three years later, he was nominated for the “Premio Borromini Awards”, the Oscars of architecture in Rome, among the “40 best architects under 40”. And in April 2015 he was awarded the silver trophy in Architecture at the “A ‘Design Awards” in Milan.
His first projects conceived by his agency had earned him the recognition of his peers. He exhibited his works on several occasions in museums and centers of contemporary art throughout the world, from Monaco to Berlin, through Austria, Madrid, Boston and Seoul.
