 L’Oréal Morocco’s 140 employees gather in solidarity for Citizen Day

The 9th Citizen Day of l’Oréal Morocco gathered, this October 1, no less than 140 employees. Super-motivated teams who have carried out three solidarity actions: cleaning the Ain Diab beach, renovating a neglected garden in Sidi Belyout and organizing the Achoura for more than 70 children from the Lalla Hasna Orphanage.

For its 9th Citizen Day, L’Oréal Morocco has mobilized its employees to two associations. Their teams left to clean the beach of Ain Diab for the Bahri association and collected more than ½ tons of waste. Others spent their day with more than 70 children from Lalla Hasna Orphanage in order to prepare a beautiful Achoura celebration. And finally, another team has renovated a neglected garden in the town of Sidi Belyout.

« It is a great pride to see an increasing number of L’Oréal employees every year » , Philippe Raffray, Chief Executive Officer of the subsidiary, said in a statement. With the Citizen Day, we are happy to enable them to be part of the Group’s commitments in terms of social and environmental responsibility and to serve associations that act in favor of the poor, for a more sustainable world.

As a reminder, the L’Oréal Group organizes every year a Citizen Day in 68 countries. Thus, this day, it is the mobilization of more than 30 000 collaborators around the world, nearly 170 000 hours of volunteering for the benefit of 700 associations! A commitment that perfectly reflects the group’s culture.
