« Lilipad », when passion supports the community

Written by FDM

Sara Arsalane is a young Moroccan who has been passionate about reading since her childhood. She has embarked on an ambitious project to build small libraries in deprived schools.

The project is called « Lilipad« , its primary purpose is to promote knowledge and reconcile pupils in impoverished schools with reading, the project also has a special feature, that of connecting the donors of books with children. Each donor keeps track of the book he offers.

This project first started in Uganda, a success that Sara would like to share with other countries like Morocco. To build libraries, Sara Arsalane launched a campaign to collect as many books as possible and send them to partner schools, then connect the reader and the former owner. Everyone can participate.
