Les Etoiles du Souss Cultural Center celebrates its anniversary (photos)

The Ali Zaoua Foundation is launching the spring program of Les Etoiles du Souss center. To celebrate this later’s anniversary, a multidisciplinary event was organized at its quarters on April 2.

A colorful event was held on April 2 at the Les Etoiles du Souss center in the presence of Ahmed Hajji, Wali of the Souss-Massa region, Governor of the Prefecture of Agadir-Ida Outanane, Nabil Ayouch President of the Ali Foundation Zaoua and Mahi Binebine, vice-president of the Ali Zaoua Foundation. During this event, the members of the Agadir center presented representative paintings of the different disciplines practiced at the Les Etoiles d’Agadir center.

Built and equipped by the INDH of the Prefecture of Agadir Ida Outanane, the Etoiles du Souss cultural center will benefit henceforth from a financial contribution from the INDH for its operation.

For its part, the Foundation is committed to contributing to the 3rd phase of INDH program designed youth development district of Hay El Farah through the establishment of the induction program and training arts and cultural practice.

“The anniversary of Les Etoiles du Souss center is an opportunity for us to celebrate the members and beneficiaries of the center who will exhibit their know-how and their talent in front of an external audience. It is also an opportunity to recall and consolidate our mission, which is to promote the arts and culture in small neighborhoods and make it a learning tool and a lever for development for the local population.» Explains Nabil Ayouch, Founder and President of the Ali Zaoua Foundation.

Despite the constraints imposed by the pandemic situation due to COVID-19 during the year 2020, the Center Les Etoiles du Souss has not ceased to ensure that culture and the arts are part of the lives of young people in the city. It is with this in mind that a program of courses and activities dispensed at a distance was set up by the Center team throughout the period of confinement.

In addition, the Les Etoiles du Souss Center has strengthened its face-to-face educational program, while establishing health standards, for the benefit of a wider public. The aim is to diversify the educational content on one hand, but also to help strengthen the skills and capacities of young talents in the region on the other hand, in order to support them in their academic and professional integration project.
