Launch of a football center dedicated to the emancipation of young girls

It is the first emancipation center for young teenage girls through football in Ouled Saleh – Bouskoura. A project with a strong social impact through sport carried by the NGO TIBU Maroc and Les Eaux Minérale d’Oulmès and presented on the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11.

The NGO TIBU Maroc, the leader in the field of social innovation through sport, and Les Eaux Minérale d’Oulmès join forces to launch the “TIBUxSidiali center for the emancipation of young adolescent girls through sport” in Ouled Saleh – Bouskoura on the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11.” Together, we will improve the self-image of adolescent girls, strengthen the capacities of their families and mobilize all stakeholders in the ecosystem to invest in programs with high social impact targeting young adolescent girls »

Declared Mohamed Amine Zariat, president of the NGO TIBU Maroc, in a press release. The goal is to create a safe space to allow around 100 girls aged between 8 to 12 to participate in regular sports and activities aimed at developing motor, cognitive and socio-emotional skills while helping to break down social barriers and equipping these young girls with essential life skills. In other words, a commitment contributing to the achievement of the  Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) n°5, ie “to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”.
