Indeed, the businesswoman and mother of three (soon to be a fourth surrogate mother ) told the magazine that she had started a four-year apprenticeship at a law firm in San Francisco in order to pass the bar exam in 2022.
She explained her decision to start reading up on the law after being invited to the White House to advise President Trump on criminal justice reform in a plead in favor of 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson jailed for more than 20 years for a non-violent crime related to drugs. The president finally commuted her sentence last June and she was released from prison.
This victory convinced her to venture further into the workings of justice. “And I’m sitting in the Roosevelt room with a judge who has convicted criminals and a lot of very powerful people and I’m here, saying, Oh, shit. I need to know more.”
Kim Kardashian’s father, Robert, was also a lawyer. He defended his friend, star OJ Simpson when he was accused of murdering his wife in 1994.
