“Jawhara Talents” competition goes on a hunt of new music talents

A new hunt for talent has just been launched by Doukkala Association in its 8th edition of “Jawhara Talents” competition. The submission of applications is scheduled from June 14 to 28.

“Jawhara Talents” is back and signs its 8th edition. The initiator, the Doukkala Association, is calling for applications from June 14 to 28. The purpose of this competition is to boost musical culture among young people and spot passionate new talents in rap / hip hop, rock, fusion and chaabi, as explained by the organizers.

To participate, simply fill out the form available on the website, prior to getting access to the application file which will be scrutinized by a jury of professionals. Leading figures like Arres Abdehharmane, Abderrahim El Bartai, Ali Faraoui, Oubiz (Darga) and Khalid Moukdar will judge the relevance and quality of the received files.

The selected groups will then be announced on July 2nd and their performances evaluated over 2 days (July 19th and 20th). At this point, the jury will decide the competitors and designate the winners. The winner will get the chance to record a single and participate in the Jawhara festival planned from August 10 to 12 in El Jadida gathering a range of well-known artists.
