The 12th edition of the International Women’s Film Festival of Salé, is putting forward the Brazilian cinema as well as an opening ceremony marked by a posthumous tribute to the late Mohamed Arious, member of the organizing committee of FIFFS, as well as to the Tunisian director and politician Selma Baccar, and to the Egyptian actress Rania Farid Chawki.
One of this year’s highlights is the forum around the theme “Women in cinema and sexual harassment”. A strong topic on the table which will be discussed before also tackeling the importance of enhancing the value of female artistic talents, especially in the film industry.
During this meeting, jurists and associative actors will also be part of the debate and talk, among other things, about the law No. 13-103 on combating violence against women, which recently came into force.
