International Convention: “Euro-Mediterranean Regional Dialogue on Advocacy for Gender Equality”

The Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation (FFEM), the Federation of Women’s Rights Leagues (FLDF) and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) jointly organized a Euro-Mediterranean Regional Dialogue on Advocacy for Women-Men equality in Casablanca, Morocco from October 24 to 26, 2017.

This dialogue is conceived as a forum for dialogue between associations that defend and promote women’s rights in the region, decision-makers and politicians, as well as other international actors and organizations active in the field of gender equality in the southern Mediterranean. In particular, it will enable the sharing of successful advocacy and policy dialogue experiences to advance gender equality at the national and regional levels.

The event is part of the CSO WINS project “Strengthening Capacity in the Southern Mediterranean to Open Dialogue and Monitoring Policies for Women in Society” funded by the European Union and coordinated by IEMed, in partnership with the FLDF and in synergy with the action of the FFEM.
