The Salama operation dedicated to women in rural and semi-urban areas is on its seventh phase. The operation carried out by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, is heading to the province of Chichaoua for the distribution of health prevention kits to deal with the spread of Covid-19.

The province of Chichaoua has just benefited from the launch of the seventh phase of Operation Salama, an initiative aimed at women leaders of feminist clubs in rural and semi-urban areas.

Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), this operation targeted more than 1,333 people and includes the distribution of individual health prevention kits to deal with the spread of Covid-19.
These kits include hygiene and cleaning products, in addition to leaflets and awareness brochures. In the efforts to combat Covid-19, the initiative focuses on rural women and thus encourages them to mobilize because of their pioneering role in society and the family.
