Moroccan designer Hicham Lahlou signed the “Morocco” collection for the brand and porcelain manufacturer Haviland, a name synonymous with French luxury. The designer is thus associated with the launch of this latest collection and signs “a set of decorative cups enclosing a candle with orange blossom scents “, as the French house explains in a press release. For the brand, it is “a sensory journey which transports us to the most beautiful valleys of Morocco”.
Through this collection, currently presented as part of Paris Design Week 2020 by Maison et Objets, Maison Haviland “makes the city of Marrakech its source of inspiration, where porcelain becomes a key player in the art of living throughout the world”.
Interior designer, and artist, recognized both for his uniqueness and his work on industrial design products but also for his innovative artistic biases with remarkable diplomatic talent, Hicham Lahlou is considered to be the leader of Moroccan design as well as the African and Arab design on an international level.
