Women’s leadership was once again honored at the Woman Manager of the Year Awards.
The trophy for the « Leader » category went to Zakia Sekkat, CEO of the PoudrOX Industrie group, while the Woman Manager of the Year Trophy was awarded to Imane Belghiti, Export Manager OCP Africa. And Ghalia Sebti, CEO of Maison Aït Manos took away the « Entrepreneur » of the year award.
According to Le Matin, the selection criteria are mainly related to leadership and influence (vision, charisma, ability to federate), innovation (inventiveness, risk taking) and societal commitment (mentoring capacity, commitment, integrity).
Receiving her trophy, Imane Belghiti declared herself honored with this distinction and added: « I am here today thanks to an environment that encourages and empowers women on a daily basis. »
Organized by the SNI and ENGIE groups, the Woman Manager of the Year Trophy sets the mission of promoting female leadership in companies and encouraging the emergence of « role models », these examples of women who succeed and make sure to positively change the position of women in the business world.
