HEAdbANG LULLABY by Hicham Lasri in theaters starting Wednesday

The premiere of HEAdbANG LULLABY was held in Casablanca, December 4, in the presence of the director and the team of the FLM. A debate also took place after the projection of the film.

After Berlin, Carthage, Marseille, Rotterdam, Montreal, Amman, London, Beirut … HeadBang Lullaby is finally released in Morocco.

Casablanca, June 11, 1986, World Cup Day. Daoud, is a cop who is forced to secure a bridge  that sits between two hostile communities  in a lost area to protect the hypothetical passage of the royal cortege. There, he will make acquaintance with the inhabitants of the two villages on both sides of the bridge; he will learn the maturity of a five year old child, the courage of a weak and lonely mother, the life of a government supporter in love, and humility of a facetious police chief.

HEAdbANG LULLABY is the fifth feature film by Hicham Lasri and his third film to be selected at the Berlinale. In this fifth opus, Hicham Lasri tackles comedy burlesque and tells the story of an era through that of a man who goes through a terrible day.

Starred by a prestigious cast, Latifa Ahrare, Benaissa Jirari, Aziz Hatab, HEAdbANG LULLABY is above all a human adventure, a sensory quest. It describes the Morocco of the 80s especially the day of July 86 when Morocco won against Portugal at the World Cup.
