On Tuesday, March 16, the Moroccan version of The Great British Bake Off “ أحسن Pâtissier” was celebrating the win of Hajar from Berrechid as the best pastry chef.
The three apprentice pastry chefs had to compete around the perfect wedding buffet! And to be in tune with the times: the choice fell on a dessert buffet made up of macaroons with original flavors and another sweet treat, “the love tower” a creation by Bouchra TMIMI, inspired by the Danish and Norwegian specialty “Kransekake”, for the formidable technical test.
The pastry chef of the week Hajar has proven herself worthy of the blue apron as she was able to rank 1st in the competition in its last phase. But to win the title, it is above all necessary to succeed in the mounted piece, Le clou du spectacle.
To draw the sketches, the three finalists had some help! For the creative test, their former comrades have arrived as reinforcements! As for cooking tips and techniques, they were provided to them by Chef Kamal RAHAL ESSOULAMI, guest of honor at the Final. Other surprises were also on the program for this evening which ended in Youyous under a shower of confetti after the victory of Hajar from Berrechid.
