“FeddantiTech” won the Princess Mary Award at the Youth Innovation Summit (video)

They are passionate, they are enthusiastic, but most importantly, they are innovative. Many young talents took part in the Youth Innovation Summit in Rabat, September 30th till October 4th with solutions in hand. “FeddantiTech” is the name of the project that won the Award of Excellence of Her Royal Highness the Princess of Denmark for Gender Equality. Details.

This is a group of young talents who came together as a team during the Youth Innovation Summit held in Rabat from September 30th to October 4th, 2019. Through “FeddantiTech”, their aim was to come up with a solution for the underprivileged women in rural areas of Morocco, to provide them with the necessary technical, administrative and financial support for a better autonomy and independence. Result? “FeddantiTech” won the favor of the Crown Princess of Denmark who graced the summit with her presence on October 3rd-4th.

Maroua Amezian, a member of the group, is explaining (above) how the idea came about, and the significance of the Youth Innovation Summit experience.

This event is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, UNDP (United Nations Development Program) and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the support of local and international partners.
