“Art for Hope” is the exhibition scheduled from July 14 to August 15 at the art gallery L’Atelier 21 and closely linked to the global health crisis. Indeed, this collective exhibition brings together the works of 27 Moroccan artists who have agreed to reveal an intimate part of their lives to the public.
Among the artists are Hassan Hajjaj, Safaa Erruas, Fatiha Zemmouri, Mo Baala, Fouad Bellamine Mohamed El Baz, or Mehdi Qotbi who demonstrate the strength of art in the face of adversity. Because “in this ordeal that we all live with confinement and fear in the face of the pandemic, we need the essence of art that creates meaning, strength and beauty”, as the art gallery explained in a press release, “art has never been so necessary. It has never been so life-saving.”
