Costa Gavras will then pursue his journey on November 15 to l’Ecole Supérieure des Arts Visuels in Marrakech for a master class with film students from the school and Cadi Ayad University.
Invited by the European Union to Morocco for the European Film Weeks, the Franco-Greek filmmaker Costa Gavras will have the opportunity to discuss with the public his latest film, an adaptation of the bestseller Yanis Varoufakis on the Greek crisis. In this story, the author plunges captivatingly behind the scenes of power. At the peak of his art, Costa Gavras delivers a scalpel study and a deep reflection on the crisis. “Adults in the Room” was presented this year out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
“Adults in the Room” will be screened in original version subtitled in French at the 27th edition of the European Film Weeks on November 14 in Marrakech, on November 16 at the Rif cinema in Casablanca, on the 20th at the Rif cinema in Tangiers and on November 29 at the Renaissance cinema in Rabat.
