The Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI) Casablanca has distinguished itself at the International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovations in Toronto, Canada.

They were awarded two gold medals and the “Special Inventor Award” thanks to her two innovative patents named “Smart Traffic” and “Smarty Factory 4.0”. The first is a system based on radio frequency identification and image processing, able to manage urban traffic in an optimal and intelligent way. In other words, it manages to identify vehicles in a state of emergency (VVIP, firefighters, ambulances, police, …) and control the traffic light dynamically! As for the “Smarty Factory 4.0” project, it is a multi-interface, multi-protocol and multi-industry communication device for data acquisition.

This isn’t the EMSI’s first distinction, for it had harvested ten gold medals, four silver medals and thirty awards touring innovation fairs in Moscow, Geneva, Iasi (Romania), Katowice (Poland), Silicon Valley (USA) and Toronto.
