Princess Haya, wife of Dubai Crown Prince leader, and daughter of late King Hussein of Jordan reportedly fled to Germany with her children to seek political asylum there.

According to several international reports, Dubai’s Princess Haya, wife of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rached and King of Jordan’s sister went to Germany to seek political asylum.

Reports say that she secretly left the country with the help of a German diplomat, bringing with her a sum of $40 million and her two children, her son Zayed, 7, and her daughter Al Jalila, 11.

The daughter of Jordan’s late King Hussein Ben Talal and Queen Alia also reportedly filed a petition for divorce in Germany and said she was afraid of her husband, who is one of the world’s richest men.

Dubai’s Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rached, has reportedly asked the Berlin authorities to send his wife and children back to the country. Without success. Berlin would have refused. Which could now create a tension between the two countries …

This isn’t the first time a member of Dubai’s ruling family fled the country. Indeed, one of the Sheikh’s daughter’s Princess Latifa fled the UAE last year, when she vanished off the coast of Goa due to alleged abuse at the hands of her father.
