Dar islie organizes a workshop intended for the general public ” which is part of our approach of valorization and transmission of the technical know-how”, indicates Julie Defudes, the co-founder of Dar Islie which is a platform of exchanges, shares and innovations revolved around the craftsmanship skills that abound in Morocco.
On a practical level, “participants will learn to weave their own wall decoration with our craftswoman-trainer who will make them discover Berber techniques and patterns with a contemporary approach,” she explains. But Dar Islie, is also a boost for the craftsmen-members since it attends, enhancing, innovative and eco-responsible projects.
The session starts the week of January 22, and lasts three months. These weekly workshops are organized at the museum on Wednesdays from 6.30 pm to 8 pm or on Saturdays from 11 am to 12.30 pm or Saturday from 2.30 pm to 4 pm. The price is MAD 2,400 . Registrations are open until January 20th.
