‘Cultures and Entrepreneurship’ at the focus of AL HAOUZ festival

AL HAOUZ association for culture, education and development organizes the fifth edition of the festival AL HAOUZ on the theme “Cultures and Entrepreneurship”.

This edition, divided into two sessions, had its first spring break from May 3 to 7, 2018 in Tahanaoute, Aghmat, Tamesloht and Oukaimden, while a summer session will be held from July 7 to 10, 2018.

Indeed, the summer session organized from 7 to 10 July 2018 kept its promise of being very festive in the villages of Tahanaoute, Amizmiz, Ait Ourir, Imlil, Douar Tarzint, Douar Azrou and Oukaimden.

On the program: opening parade, concerts, screenings of short and feature films, educational workshops, murals, exhibitions – including one dedicated to Haouz’s young talents, daily fantasias, as well as a show of crafts and products terroir.

A week prior to the event, 10 street artists from the 400ML collective prepared for the realization of a course of 12 murals. “N9iw Blasstna” operation has also been initiated to reward the most beautiful street.

This fifth edition of the Festival aims to be a platform for transmission and exchange between artists, intellectuals, young entrepreneurs, farmers, artisans. Crossing disciplines, arts, sciences and techniques, valuing trades, know-how and savoir-être, it questions the links between art, culture and business and seeks to reveal Haouz’s youth creativity.

Conceived as an incubator of ideas and projects, the spring session brought together 40 experts and artists and more than 200 festival-goers, including a large majority of young entrepreneurs from HAOUZ, inhabitants and cultural and economic actors of the Region.
