The Consulate General of the United States in Casablanca has launched the project of building new premises in Casablanca. On 25 and 26 July, the US Consulate and the Bureau of Construction Operations of the US State Department met with Moroccan construction companies around the project. The conference, which took place in a big hotel in Casablanca, attracted an array of Moroccan companies wishing to collaborate with American companies for the project.
The United States Consulate organized this event to attract the interest of companies and suppliers wishing to participate in the construction of the new building. Speaking to business representatives at the conference, Jennifer Rasamimanana, Consul General of the United States in Casablanca, said her team was eagerly helping new locals: “Casablanca continues to develop as a hub for business, the media, trade, and tourism, and our diplomatic establishment must also meet the criteria of a world-class institution. We are very excited about this project, which represents a significant commitment to continue to develop and strengthen the historic partnership between the United States and Morocco. ”
“Casablanca is a city in motion and we hope to soon be able to plan our move to our new premises,” said Consul General Rasamimanana.
