The British International School of Casablanca (BISC) organized on Thursday, May 31, 2019, a press conference to present the British education system.

BISC is expanding its offer. In order to strengthen its school curriculum, the school decided to integrate Mandarin in elementary school in addition to English, Arabic, Islamic education and French. BISC also strengthens its sports program by adding specialties in gymnastics, football, and swimming.

“On the other hand, another innovation reinforces, from next year, the positioning of BISC as a school oriented towards excellence: it is the introduction of the Prep School model for the last two years of primary school”, said Graham Gamble, Director of British International School Casablanca.

This model is intended to prepare students for their transition to secondary school by providing them with work procedures, analyzes and the pace expected in their next course of studies. It also helps to consolidate the maturity and personal development of students.

As a reminder, BISC provides the 160-year-old Cambridge educational program. To date, it is the only one authorized by the Moroccan Ministry of Education. It has 88 teachers meeting the requirements of the academic program. Through its Cambridge program, the school offers a choice of subjects of up to 70 at Cambridge IGCSE, and more than 50 at Cambridge International, through 10,000 schools covering more than 160 countries. Today, Cambridge’s qualifications are accepted and valued by employers and universities around the world, such as MIT, Harvard, and Oxford.
