The latter is divided into several categories: humanities, social sciences, literary, artistic and linguistic studies, poetry, story (novel, short story, theatrical text), translation, encouragement to Amazigh literary creation, and studies in the field of Amazigh culture, as well as books for children and young people.
This competition concern works published in Arabic, Amazigh, Hassani, or any other foreign language added the ministry in a press release. But who can apply? Only authors who have not received an award in the past three years and books published in 2018. Thus, the candidacy of a work that has already received a book award, at the national or international level is not admitted.
The authors, as well as publishing houses and cultural, university and educational institutions, subject to the presentation of a handwritten request signed by the author, as the Department reiterates, adding that applications must be submitted by Friday, May 29 at the latest, at the direction of books, libraries, and archives order desk. The results are expected in late October.
