British band The Vamps release new music video shot in Rabat

Written by FDM

Marrakech, Ouarzazate or Chefchaouen have always been the go to destination as shooting sets for foreign productions whether in movies, music videos, or even fashion. However an unexpected city has recently stepped into the international spotlight. It’s none other than the capital : Rabat.

The British pop-rock group, The Vamps, has chosen the capital to shoot the music video for its latest song “Just my type” in the streets of the medina. A video that has harvested nearly half a million views in less than 24 hours.

In the clip, the drummer Tristan Evans is seen trying Moroccan percussion, and the Vamps singer, Bradley Simpson, trying to seduce a young woman in different tourist places of the capital. Connoisseurs of the city will be able to recognize the bluish walls of the Oudayas, the famous café Maure, the rue des Consuls or Bouregreg banks.

Last June, the group posted on their Instagram account a photo in the medina of Rabat to announce the shooting of their clip.

The musicians also shared on their individual accounts several photos where they’re seen enjoying the sun of Rabat:
