Breast cancer survivors featured in Warriors in Pink 2018

Written by FDM

October or Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here. A great opportunity to encourage women to get cancer screening.

Ford, for instance and as every year, has chosen to present stories of Models of exceptional courage in order to promote the importance of early screening to overcome the disease in the Middle East and North Africa.

Warriors in Pink, Ford’s breast cancer awareness campaign, marks its eighth year in the region, having worked over the years with more than 130 Models of Courage – survivors ready to help and inspire those who struggle currently with cancer.

For its 2018 edition, Ford Warriors in Pink asked its five Models of Courage to describe the challenges they faced, when faced with diagnosis and treatment, and to recount in detail how their lives changed.

“Our Courage Models for 2018 each have an incredible story that we have highlighted in a series of inspirational videos that take viewers through the challenges of the fight against cancer and tell the life story of our survivors,” said Sue Nigoghossian, General Manager, MENA Communications, Ford Middle East and Africa.

Breast cancer survivors of different nationalities have accepted the challenge – and although each story is unique, they are all proof that cancer should not stop you or prevent you from living fully.
