The region of Fès-Meknes has set up an attractive incentive system for companies, consisting in particular of an employment bonus, with the aim of attracting new investors and encouraging job creation in the Fez-shore park. This employment bonus of MAD 6,000 is the subject of a partnership agreement, approved in 2017, and bringing together the regional council, the municipality of Fez, the regional investment center (CRI), and the company MEDZ.

The amount of this agreement is 12 million dirhams, of which 6 million dirhams are insured by the Fès-Meknes regional council. According to data relayed by the regional council, three companies based in Fès-Shore have benefited so far from this incentive: the company Alten Maroc, a subsidiary of the Alten Group, the world leader in engineering and technology consulting, the Canadian CGI and the company ACTECALL. “These incentive schemes have enabled us to maintain our activity during the period of crisis, to ensure the upgrading of skills of our young graduates, to propel our competitiveness on an international scale and to pursue our growth prospects”, said Driss Rabie, administrative and financial director and co-manager of Alten Maroc.
