The project, which falls in the particular context of health emergency of the COVID-19, aims to provide support to students and recent graduates of fine arts, young self-taught talents, and young foreign artists who have taken refuge in Morocco. The initiative aims, according to its initiator, to “ provide effective support to artists by selling their works, and by paying the full profits of the operation to the last 5 promotions of laureates from the 2 art institutes plastics in Morocco (Tétouan and Casablanca) and to young artists in precarious situations.”
In this sense, a Beaux-Arts Solidaires Maroc internet platform was created to allow a permanent virtual exhibition of works by recognized contemporary artists and young talents. More than 60 professional artists and art lovers have joined this initiative, and more than 100 original works have been collected to date.
