Bakery Contest: Morocco 2nd in Africa

The International fair of Catering, Food and Hotel Industry Professionals (CREMAI) came to an end last Friday, March 24 at the Casablanca Fair.

For four days, several food service companies presented their latest products and services. This fair, organized by  Kamal Rahal, is an opportunity to discover the latest trends in the gastronomy and pastry market in Morocco.

In addition to the best stand competition, won by Caféino, the show also gave the prize to the best baker. Tunisia won the trophy, allowing it to qualify for the World Cup Bakery which will take place in February 2018 in Paris. Morocco came second and Burkina Faso third.

Kamal Rahal was also awarded the Gabriel Paillasson awards for his actions in his field.
