Under the motto “Moving Forward”, Atlas Electronic is once again raising awareness on the issue of mobility through a rich program concocted around music, photography, video and a variety of workshops and many debates.
Thus, from August 29 to September 1st, the Festival hosts on its three stages, 130 artists representing 15 countries with multiple universes. Among them, New York legend Joaquin “Joe” Claussell will be in artistic residency the week before the festival and will present on August 30 a unique set resulting from his cultural immersion. Also headlining this year is the Moroccan duo of DJS KALBOCA, as well as the Parisian producer and djette Crystallmess, resident at NTS and winner of the NTS WIP 2019 with the sounds mixing dancehall, ambient and afro-trance, as the organization mentionned in a press release.
Also scheduled for the event: the “white gnaoui” Jauk Armal, the Moroccan experimental music group Raskas, the South African singer Ntombi Ndaba, the future-jazz label producer Kamal Williams, Kieron Ifill aka K15, and Louis Chen, Mr Wynters, grime artist Mezou and the Moroccan MC Yazid Bezaz.
Other highlights of the event: Back to back between mad miran and Kreggo and the stage dedicated to the famous London platform Boiler Room which will host Houariyate, Dollypran, Polyswitch, etc, and broadcast the live sets. In short, the new edition of atlas Electronic is without limit!
