This new exhibition of the artist Faissal Ben Kiran, awaited by his admirers, is also a celebration of the Woman. The northern woman with her costumes and jewelry. Beautiful odalisques who play the lute or the “rebab” in caftans with shimmering colors, embroidery, enigmatic patterns, and signs. The collection reveals a whole art of living.
The Andalusian art of living in Tétouan jealously protects prestige. It is in this blessed city that the artist was born and learned about life and art within an artistic family.
Born in 1975, Faissal Ben Kiran obtained his baccalaureate in plastic arts in 1995. Second cycle diploma from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tétouan, he engaged in teaching and exhibited from the early 90s. A regular exhibitor at Medina Art Gallery, which Omar Salhi directs, he returns there for our greatest pleasure.
